The results of estimating the characteristics of coaxial emitters in flat phased arrays.

Rectangular and circular waveguides are used as emitters in phased arrays [1]. We are interested in arrays made with open endings of coaxial waveguides excited by a mode . Such waveguides have a fairly high operating power while their cross-section sizes are much less than that of the above-mentioned types, which enables the realization of scanning through the wide range of angles without filling waveguides with dielectric…

In section of “Publications-Dissertations” the “Metal-dielectric structures in antenna arrays, radio-absorbing coatings and near-omnidirectional radiators” dissertation is published. Author: I. V. Sutyagin.

The aim of the dissertation is to develop electrodynamic-level mathematical models describing printed-circuit radiators of an irregular shape within an antenna array that make it possible to analyze the radiation pattern characteristics of separate printed-circuit radiators located on finite screens of an irregular shape and mathematical models for analyzing the characteristics of ultrawideband ribbon antenna arrays with wide-angle scanning.
